Philip Hayes - Aisle Hopper I grew up on this stuff. To me this is the best tasting fruit juice ever followed by strawberry and passion fruit. It has an almost wine like quality. Mix with water and copious amounts of sugar and your taste buds are flying.Its actually the Andean Blackberry and It's comercially cultivated in South America from Colombia to Brazil, where it is prized for its rich flavor, unlike temperate varieties of blackberries which are rather tart and insipid. these blackberries are HUGE and the flavor quite remarkable. In my native Colombia we also make milk shakes and deserts from this delicious fruit. Im actually buying it online because here in the U.S. the blackberries from Oregon are pretty much tasteless and the ones from Mexico not much better. Its a shame the genetics from the Andean variety havent been introduced furter north.Goya
