Help my messy kitchen (4 great organization products!)

How many of us suffer from messy kitchens? I am certainly one of them. But whether its due to lack of counter or cabinet space, an overstuffed fridge, or what have you — organization tips and products are always a great help. Get Organized! is a great site FULL of great gadgets to help your household on track. Here are four products I think would be super helpful in my kitchen, and maybe yours, too!

SCRAP TRAP
Looks like I won’t be using that plastic-bag-underneath-the-counter trick anytime soon. This “Scrap Trap” even comes with a scraper/brush that stores on the side. AND it holds up to 2 quarts!

SUGAR DISPENSER
Okay, I will admit that I’m one of those people that has their flour and sugar spill all over the cabinet and countertop whenever I go to use it. This dispenser can hold a 5lb bag of sugar or flour and allows you to pour right from the bag without a mess! It also keeps its contents fresh, dry and bug free while helping your cabinet get organized. Too great!

FRIDGE ROLL OUT CADDY
This roll out caddy keeps your food organized and accessible, eliminating the possibility of those “forgotten items” in the back of your fridge. They’re also dishwasher safe!

LID AND SPOON REST
I hate when I’m cooking and I go to take the lid off my pot and its a. way too hot, b. covered in sauce or water, and c. DRIPS EVERYWHERE. This lid/spoon rest eliminates those problems and saves valuable counter space while you’re making dinner.

“Excuse me, I’d like my sandwich dinosaur shaped.”

No matter our age, we’re all kids at heart. That, or we have kids — or both. But either way, fun is always something you should have in life. And how do I like to have fun? In every way possible. Like for instance ..

Eating my sandwiches in dinosaur shaped pieces.

Yes, I will admit that I own a dinosaur sandwich cutter:

EVRIHOLDER DYNOBYTES SANDWICH CRUST CUTTER

This sandwich cutter is so great. I love bringing my peanut butter and Nutella sandwiches to work and showing off my lunch. Yes, I’m a proud sandwich crust cutter — and you should be, too. If dinosaurs aren’t exactly your style, try these on for size:

CRITTER CUTTERS SANDWICH CUTTERS

MATCH & MUNCH PUZZLE SANDWICH CUTTERS

STAR WARS SANDWICH CUTTERS (w/ Vintage Style Tin!)

Trust me, once you cut your sandwich you’ll never want to eat a boring, mediocre, average shaped PB&J again!

How do you cut your sandwich? In half? Quarters? Sixths? Shaped?

As we like to say here at Social Grocery, “AMAZABALLS!

Next up is brand pages. You are now able to search by brand names, accessible by the footer, browse menu, and each product page (brand name hyperlink next to the product image). Here”s an example of what the brand page search index looks like:

From there, you can click on a brand and be directed to their own page. These pages include websites, Facebook and Twitter links, a contact number, a top ranked product, as well as a listing of all products available on Social Grocery for that specific brand.

Look at that! Now you can easily access your favorite brand”s products all in one spot. What could be sweeter?

Last (but certainly not least) we have .. drum roll please .. trending pages! And not just the old product trends, either. Wait for it ..

Yes, in addition to trending products we now have trending users and brands! Now it”s even easier to find out what the latest love is within the Social Grocery community — as well as who is dominating the leaderboards.

From this main trending page, you can click the “More” button at the bottom of each column to bring you to separate pages for each category.

We hope you enjoy our latest updates! As always, we are open to feedback and would love to know your thoughts.

Happy grabbing!

Old favorites are here to stay.

Have you ever stopped to think about how long some brands have been around? Think about it. Some brands have become such a staple in many of our lives that we refer to them constantly — like calling any brand of tissue paper “Kleenex” or generic cola “Coke.”

There are certainly some veterans when it comes to food products and brands. For a perfect example, take a walk down the cereal aisle next time you”re in the grocery store. How many of those brands do you remember eating as a child yourself? We”re betting more than a few!

Feeling inspired to take a stab into the history of the grocery world, we found a couple of old school commercials to entertain you. Did we mention that all of these items are still available in your local grocery store and also on SocialGrocery.com? Let”s revisit a few old time favorites!

** If the YouTube videos do not load the first time around, just refresh the page!
